オーストラリアの森林火災で熱と炎のなか家が燃焼し「食料不足の方々」と、煙の被害で「呼吸器疾患となっている子どもや老人」へ、長崎原爆でも救世主となり、チェルノブイリ原発では多くの方々が取り入れた日本の誇る「再生力」を持つ味噌のチカラで免疫力を高め、活用法を伝承しに行くプロジェクトです。

いま、オーストラリアでは
今、オーストラリアでは世界最大級の山火事被害で多くの自然、動物、そしてヒトの命が危険にさらされています。
火事の規模は現在までにおよそ586万ヘクタール(関東１都６県の総面積は324万ヘクタール)が焼かれ、巨大な煙の雲が東海岸沿いの大都市を襲い、数百万人が深刻な呼吸器系疾患の危険に晒されています。
しかもオーストラリアの山火事シーズンは、まだ始まったばかりなのです。
外気温40度を超えるなか、炎と煙のなかで毎日命懸けで救助隊が活動しています。
それでもなおこれまでに、家屋はニューサウスウェールズ州(シドニーがある州)だけで1400棟以上が焼失。
多くの方が避難所生活を強いられています。
そして近郊の都市部では森林火災により「『有害』とされる基準値の最大１１倍」の大気汚染が起きており、
町は常に黄色い空気に包まれ、
呼吸器疾患で救急外来を訪れた外来患者数は、８０％増を記録しています。
森林火災の煙を吸うことは誰にとっても有害ですが、
特に高齢になると
「喘息患者へのリスク」が高く、また
「子どもの呼吸器系にも長期的な影響」を与えます。
なぜ味噌で支援？
私たちは「味噌の再生力」で、森林火災被害の方々を救援しにいこうと思っています。
味噌の再生力は、長崎原爆の際に多くの命を味噌で救った秋月医師や、広島大学原爆放射能医学研究所・環境変異研究分野名誉教授渡逞敦光先生の研究などで明らかにされています。
そして世界に味噌の再生力が知れ渡ったのは、チェルノブイリ原発事故でソ連や欧州の人々が食卓に味噌を取り入れたことにもよります。
味噌の発酵菌はカラダの細胞から免疫力を高めてくれる「チカラ」があります。
(同じように醤油など他の発酵食品でも研究をされた結果、味噌が一番免疫力を高めることがわかりました)
What can I do?
Australia is facing massive forest fires right now. It dangers lives of people, animals and nature.
Since the bushfire season started 17 Australians have been killed and 18 more are missing. More than 1,400 homes have been destroyed across the country and 5 million hectares of land burned.
University of Sydney ecologists estimate almost 500 million animals have been killed by bushfires since September. That number includes 8,000 koalas as well as other mammals, reptiles and birds.
Thick toxic smokes is covering the surrounding area as well making the air quality dangerous. More than millions of people are having problems of Respiratory disease as a result. Unfortunately, the forest fire season in Australia has just begun.
Firefighters are fighting the fires and smoke and rescuing people in temperatures of 40°c and more.
Surrounding neighbourhoods from forest fire are facing 11 times more of toxic air quality than normal as thick smoke are covering the town. Emergency rooms have been reported as having 80% more patients than usual who are suffering from respiratory problems.
Breathing in the toxic smoke caused by the forest fires is causing senior citizens to be at risk for contracting asthma and also causing children to have long term respiratory issues.
We are planning to help the forest fire victims with the Recovering power of Miso.
If we are able to go there, we would like to help the people who have suffered from these forest fires. Moreover we want to help the people who live in the surrounding areas who worry about suffering from problems because of the toxic air quality.
We are going to locate our base in Sydney. We are not only bringing Miso to them, we also plan to educate them in how to use Miso in their daily lives.
The recovering power of Miso has been proven by Dr. Akitsuki who has saved many people after atomic bomb attacks in Nagasaki. Hiromitsu Watanabe; the honorary professor of Environmental Mutation Research in Res. Inst. for Nuclear Medicine and Biology, Hiroshima Univ. also believes in the recovering power of Miso as well.
People started to know about the recovery power when people in Russia and Europe started to eat Miso after the Chernobyl nuclear accident as well.
The fermentation bacteria in Miso has the power of improving our immunity.
